Is PRP stem cells? Same as stem cell therapy?

Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell Therapy are often used interchangeably but are not the same. Platelet Rich Plasma does not contain stem cells but utilizes growth factors to stimulate repair.

Both have been studied for regenerative benefit in:

  • Sports medicine
  • Chronic pain treatment
  • Chronic disease
